To maintain the reputation as the “Culinary Capital of Asia”, the Catering industry must continuously enhance itself, improve the quality of its workforce and foster more industry professionals. The Education Bureau assists the industry in the implementation of QF, aiming to elevate the skills of practitioners through encouraging continuing education and lifelong learning, thereby promoting the industry’s continuous development and professionalisation. Collaboration between employers and training providers is encouraged, providing more training and internship opportunities through the QF platform. This helps young individuals establish clear progression pathways, injects new energy into the Culinary Capital, and supports the continuous development of Hong Kong’s catering industry.
