Without prejudice to the generality of 2. above, the Government gives no representation or warranty that materials which may be available under the licence to be granted under 6. below shall entitle any training to be developed and/or conducted based on or using or through the adaptation of such materials will obtain accreditation from the Hong Kong Council for Accreditation of Academic and Vocational Qualifications courses as Specification of Competency Standards (SCS)-based and Specification of Generic (Foundation) Competencies (SGC)-based (i.e. SCS-based and SGC-based courses). An applicant wishing to apply for accreditation status in relation to a course shall comply with all prevailing requirements and procedures. The use of the materials is voluntary and not prescribed by any such requirement and procedure and will not exempt any such requirements or procedures.
