Vocational Qualifications Pathway (VQP)
Catering ITAC will discuss the development of VQP for the industry soon. Below are some examples of job roles within several functional areas of the Catering industry (Chinese Cuisine):

Specification of Competency Standards (SCS)
Catering ITAC has updated the Specification of Competency Standards (SCS) for the industry in 2019. The SCS now encompasses Chinese, Asian and Western Cuisines, comprising a total of 253 Units of Competency (UoC) distributed across 5 functional areas at various levels.
Training Packages
Catering ITAC has developed four sets of SCS-based training packages (Chinese version only) to encourage enterprises and education and training providers to develop courses more closely aligned with the needs of industry.
