VQP and related job functions in Property Management industry
The pilot project on development of VQP for the Property Management industry conducted in 2016. Competency requirements of key job positions under the 8 functional areas were identified and mapped with the property management SCS. The VQP is reviewed in the revision exercise of SCS in 2021 and some functional areas and positions are revised as follows:
- Adding a new functional area "Services for the Management of Ancillary Facilities in a Property" and relevant positions; and
- Practical work under the functional area "Carpark" are subsumed under the positions in functional areas of "Property Services" and "Property Security".
The revised VQP consists of 37 positions with details as follows:
