Industry Consultation on the SCS (Draft of Second Version) for Jewellery Industry cum Sharing Session

The Jewellery Industry Training Advisory Committee (ITAC) and the Qualifications Framework Secretariat (QFS) jointly organized an industry consultation on the Specification of Competency Standards (SCS) (Draft of Second Version) for Jewellery industry cum sharing session on 13 December 2018. Besides introducing the draft SCS and the consultation details by the professional writer and the QFS, guest speakers from Asian Gemmological Institute and Laboratory Limited and The Hong Kong Jewellery & Jade Manufacturers Association were invited to share their experiences of applying SCS in the areas of programme development. In addition, 3 awardees from “Award Scheme for Learning Experiences” delivered a sharing on the benefits of QF. Over 60 representatives from employers, HR departments, and education & training providers participated in this event.
