The VQP developed by the HRM CITAC covers the following areas and related job position requirements:

  • Human Resource Generalist;
  • Specialist in Talent Management; and
  • Specialist in Workforce Planning and Resourcing.

Specification of Competency Standards (SCS)

The Specification of Competency Standards (SCS) for the Human Resource Management (HRM) sector outlines the competency standards required for the present operations and the future developments of the HRM sector.  It consists of 209 Units of Competency (UoCs) distributed across 7 functional areas at various levels.

Training Packages

CITAC is currently developing SCS-based training packages to encourage enterprises and education and training providers to develop courses more closely aligned with the needs of industry.
