Asia Airfreight Terminal (AAT) has become the first cargo terminal with logistics Vocational Qualifications Pathway (VQP) course

Asia Airfreight Terminal (AAT) has become the first cargo terminal in Hong Kong to offer a logistics VQP course, marking a significant milestone for the airfreight operations sector. The QF-recognised “Certificate in Air Cargo Terminal Practical Operation” (QF Level 2) covers the essential knowledge and skills required for various key positions in air cargo practical operation, providing a clear pathway for further education and career development. Mr Steve LAI, General Manager of Qualifications Framework Secretariat, welcomed the VQP course provided by AAT, believing that this would help enhance the professionalism of the corporate teams. Mr Mike CHEW, CEO of AAT, believes that the VQP course will create new opportunities for industry development and talent recruitment by offering training courses tailored to specific job positions.  This will help retain experienced employees and attract young talent to the industry, while providing them with a clear career progression pathway.
