Industry Consultation Session on the e-Business SCS for the Retail Industry

The Retail Industry Training Advisory Committee (ITAC) hosted an industry consultation session on the e-Business Specification of Competency Standards (SCS) for the Retail Industry at the Lecture Theatre, 7/F. of the VTC Tower, Wan Chai on 2 March 2017. Besides introducing the SCS and consultation details by the professional writer, Dr LAM Sai-ming from the HKU SPACE, the Chairman of the Retail ITAC, Mr. Henry YIP, the Convenor of the SCS Drafting Subcommittee, Mr. Nicholas JIM, as well as the Convenor of the Publication & Consultation Subcommittee, Ms. Ruth YU, also shared with the participants some applications of SCS in business on that day. Over 40 representatives from employers, HR departments, and education & training providers participated in the Consultation Session.
