Sharing Session on Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) for Retail Industry

The Retail Industry Training Advisory Committee (ITAC) and the Qualifications Framework Secretariat (QFS) jointly organized a sharing session on Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) for Retail industry on 11 April 2019. Besides introducing Qualifications Framework and Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) mechanism by representatives from QFS and RPL Unit, Ms. Sandy Wong, Assistant Manager – Learning & Development, Belle Worldwide (Talent Management) Limited and Ms. Jackie Leung, Manager, Staff Training & Development, Pricerite Home Limited were invited to share the benefits of RPL and their experiences of applying RPL in the area of human resources (HR) development. In addition, 2 awardees from “Award Scheme for Learning Experiences” delivered a sharing on the benefits of QF. Over 60 representatives from employers, HR departments and education & training providers participated in this event.
