Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) Mechanism
RPL for the Logistics industry was launched on 15 March 2012. HKU School of Professional and Continuing Education is appointed as the assessment agency until 30 June 2030. There are altogether 61 RPL qualifications available for application, covering the following branches at QF levels 1 to 4 :

Transitional period for Supporting & Ancillary Services - Cargo Surveying of Logistics Industry will end on 15 February 2026. Applicants can opt for documentary proof for the application of levels 1 to 3 RPL qualifications on or before 15 February 2026.
