HACTL – The 1st cargo terminal to have logistics training courses recognised under QF

Hong Kong Air Cargo Terminals Limited (HACTL) has become the first cargo terminal with logistics training courses recognised under HKQF. The four QF-recognised in-house training courses are Certificate in Special and Temperature Controlled Cargo Handling (QF Level 3); Certificate in Dangerous Goods Awareness Training (QF Level 2); Certificate in Conflict Resolution (QF Level 3); and Certificate in Service Excellence (QF Level 3). The course contents are referenced from the Specifications of Competency Standards for the Logistics industry. General Manager of Qualifications Framework Secretariat, Mr Steve LAI, welcomed HACTL to provide QF-recognised training courses which would definitely enhance the professionalism of HACTL's workforce and the air cargo industry. Chief Executive of HACTL, Mr Wilson Kwong, indicated that QF would enhance the overall standard of the industry and the image of Hong Kong in the Logistics sector. Wider adoption of QF-recognised courses could also help evaluate the competency level of candidates when recruiting, which will be of great benefit to HACTL and the air cargo industry at large.
