Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) Mechanism
RPL for the Testing, Inspection and Certification industry launched on 1 November 2015. The School of Science and Technology, Hong Kong Metropolitan University is appointed as the assessment agency until 31 October 2028. There are altogether 52 RPL qualifications available for the application, covering the following 5 areas at QF levels 2 to 4:
- Laboratory/ Onsite Testing: Testing Operations
- Laboratory/ Onsite Testing: Testing Quality Management
- Inspection: Inspection Operations
- Inspection: Inspection Quality Management
- Common Operations Management
