Recognition of Prior Learning
RPL for the Security Services industry launched in 1 July 2021. HKU SPACE is appointed as the assessment agency for the Security Services industry until 30 June 2026. There are altogether 25 QF level 2 to level 4 RPL qualifications covering the following 8 areas for the application of practitioners:
- Security Management
- Emergency Management
- Physical Security Management
- Guarding Services
- Close Protection Services
- Security Control Room
- Armoured Transportation
- Investigation
Transitional period for the Security Services RPL will end on 30 June 2026. Applicant could opt for documentary proof for application of level 2 to 3 RPL recognition.
