Cross-industry Consultation of HRM SCS-based Training Packages
Cross-industry Consultation of HRM SCS-based Training Packages
In 2017, the Cross-industry Training Advisory Committee (CITAC) for the Human Resources (HRM) Sector developed the Specifications of Competency Standards (SCS) for HRM. These standards outline the knowledge, skills and competency requirements for the current operations and future development of the HRM sector. In 2021, the Vocational Qualifications Pathway (VQP) for selected HRM streams was developed based on the SCS. The VQP serves as a roadmap for progression in learning and employment within the major HRM streams.
To further encourage the utilisation of the SCS and the development of QF-learning programmes, the HRM CITAC has recently developed two sets of SCS-based Training Packages at QF level 4. These packages are:
- Staffing and Workforce Continuity
- Essentials of Recruitment Practices
Each Package provides comprehensive learning content, assessment guidelines, and supporting materials for trainers and learners.
To gather valuable feedback, the draft Packages are currently open for cross-industry consultation from 18 November to 31 December 2024. On 10 December 2024, the Qualifications Framework Secretariat (QFS) will host a Training Package Cross-industry Consultation Session to coincide with the HRM CITAC’s 10th anniversary celebration. Below are the details of the event:
