Electrical & Mechanical Services Industry

In response to the challenges posed by globalization and the rapid development and widespread adoption of technologies, the Electrical & Mechanical Services industry recognizes the need to continuously enhance its value, enhance the quality of its workforce, and cultivate a greater number of skills professionals to maintain its competitiveness. To address these needs, the Education Bureau assists the Electrical & Mechanical Services industry in the implementation of QF. The primary objective of the QF is to promote continuing education and lifelong learning, thereby elevating the skill levels of practitioners and driving the industry’s continuous development and professionalisation. Increased collaboration between training providers and employers are also encouraged, leveraging the QF platform to provide additional training and internship opportunities. This collaborative effort aims to assist youngsters in charting clear progression pathways for career advancement, injecting fresh momentum into the industry and contributing to its continuous development.
