Seminar on Qualifications Framework (QF) for the Insurance Industry

The Insurance Industry Training Advisory Committee and the Hong Kong Federation of Insurers co-organised a Seminar on QF for the Insurance Industry on 26 June 2014. The aim of the Seminar was to promote the use of Specification of Competency Standards (SCS) of the insurance industry and to introduce the recognition mechanism in relation to QF and continuing professional development activities under the Insurance Intermediaries Quality Assurance Scheme. Over 120 industry practitioners joined the Seminar, which was well-received with good exchanges of views among the participants. Interested companies and training providers have approached QF Secretariat for the development of SCS-based courses as the CPD activities.
