Introduction
Information and Communications Technology (ICT) has become indispensable to daily life and business operations. Set up in 2005, the ICT Industry Training Advisory Committee (ITAC) has steered QF implementation in various aspects, including the development of Specification of Competency Standards (SCS), the implementation of Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) mechanism and formulation of Vocational Qualifications Pathways (VQP), for assisting the stakeholders to apply QF to education and training, as well as the Human Resources Management areas.
