QF Commendation Ceremony cum Sharing Session for Fashion Industry
Fashion Industry Training Advisory Committee (ITAC) has organised "QF Commendation Ceremony cum Sharing Session for Fashion Industry" during "Fashion Summit (HK) 2023" in Xiqu Centre on 12.10.2023. The event served to promote QF and RPL mechanism and commend industry stakeholders who have participated in or provided support to the implementation of QF. Representatives of Education Bureau and ITAC presented certificates of commendation to industry employers, trade associations and trade unions for their continual and proactive support to QF. Over 80 industry practitioners attended the event and witnessed achievements of promoting QF for the industry.
In addition to the commendation session, some representatives of industry stakeholders, including employers, a training provider and practitioners, shared their experience of applying QF conducive to the manpower development for the industry, and views of applications for RPL qualifications and "Award Scheme for Learning Experiences" from practitioners' perspectives.
