Online Briefing Sessions on Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) for Elderly Care Service Industry

The Qualifications Framework Secretariat (QFS) organised online briefing sessions on the Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) mechanism for the elderly care service industry on 31 July and 12 August 2020. Representatives from QFS and Hong Kong Association of Gerontology, the appointed assessment agency of RPL of the elderly care service industry, introduced Qualifications Framework and RPL. Over 40 participants have attended the online briefing sessions. The RPL mechanism for the elderly care service industry was launched in September 2015. As at 1 August 2020, over 800 practitioners have applied with over 3,000 RPL qualifications being awarded.
