Industry Consultation on the SCS-based Training Package (Simplified Version) on Professional Diploma Programme for Health and Care Practitioners
(Consultation Period: 12 October to 23 November 2026)
The Elderly Care Service Industry Training Advisory Committee has completed the drafting of the Specification of Competency Standards (SCS)-based Training Package (Simplified Version) on Professional Diploma Programme for Health and Care Practitioners. The draft training package is currently undergoing industry consultation to gather stakeholders’ views for further enhancement.

The Qualifications Framework Secretariat (QFS) will organise briefing sessions to introduce the simplified training package. Details of the briefing sessions are as follows:

(Only applicable to training institutes that are qualified to offer Qualifications Framework (QF) Level 5 courses and have prior experience in operating courses related to elderly services or the nursing industry.)
