Arboriculture and Horticulture Industry’s 'Recognition of Prior Learning' Mechanism Launch Ceremony cum Sharing Session

Organised by the Arboriculture and Horticulture Industry Training Advisory Committee and jointly organised by the School of Professional and Continuing Education of the University of Hong Kong, the Arboriculture and Horticulture Industry’s Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) Mechanism launch ceremony and sharing session was held on March 26, 2024. Apart from introducing the purpose and application process of the RPL mechanism by the QF Secretariat and the assessment agency (School of Professional and Continuing Education of the University of Hong Kong), representatives from greening and landscaping contractor, property management companies' horticultural consultants, senior horticultural practitioners, and union representatives were invited to share the benefits that RPL can bring to different stakeholders. A commitment ceremony for participating partners was also held on that day, with a total of 15 organisations committing to promote and assist employees in applying for RPL qualifications.
